In most cases, when arriving at Panama City, you will need to stay overnight at a hotel. Most of the international flights arrive in Panama City at night and flights to Bocas del Toro leave early in the morning or mid day. You can find good hotels in the city ranging from US$40.00 to US$250.00 a night. Taxi fare from Tocumen International Airport to the downtown hotels is around US$25.00.
Two airlines fly to the Islands of Bocas del Toro from Panama City: Airpanama and Aeroperlas. Tickets average US$180.00 round trip. All flights leave from Albrook National Airport. Taxi fare from your downtown hotel to this airport is approximately US$3.00
When you arrive in Bocas del Toro at the airport on Isla Colon, there will be a guide waiting for you at the airport to take you to a dock. Once at the dock, the guide will arrange your trip by boat to Punta Caracol, an exceptional 15 minutes ride over the Caribbean Sea. (More Information...)
Upon your arrival at Punta Caracol, you will be welcomed with a courtesy cocktail and then led to your cabin. You can decide if you would like to take a tour or spent the rest of the day at the lodge. |

- Tours and lunch. Most tours will stop at nearby restaurants for lunch. The approximate cost of a whole day tour, including boat ride and guide, range from US$20.00 to US$60 per person
- 7% Tax
Terms & Conditions
Hotel not recommended for children under 10 years old in case they can not swin or their behavior could disturb the other guests rest.
Full Deposit requiered to guarantee Reservation, and it is only valid for the dates reserved.
Minimum two nights stay.
Children until 5 years have complementary lodging. Children from 6 years pay adult rate.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations Made 30 days in Advance result in a 2 Night non-refundable
deposit.
Cancellations made within 30 days full deposit non refundable.
Cancellations made under proved tragic circumstances full deposit will be hold for a possible future reservation.
